Step by Step

The Seaplane Harbour is one of Tallinn's most iconic attractions, known for both its maritime collection and its impressive seaplane hangar, a pioneering 20th century architectural work. This museum offers an immersive experience that combines history, technology and design, making it one of Estonia's most modern cultural spaces.

With your ticket you can explore the Lennusadam Museum, which houses historic ships, warships, sea mines, old aircraft and a wealth of artefacts related to the country's naval history. The famous Lembit submarine, one of Estonia's first submarines, is one of the highlights of the tour.

The ticket also gives access to the Flying Harbor, which includes the hangar and various seasonal shows, such as Big Tõll and Valvas, which add a dynamic and visual component perfect for families and curious visitors.

In addition, you can enter the Sex and the Sea exhibition, an amazing display that explores the human and emotional side of maritime life, addressing little-known themes of relationships, loneliness, travel and the personal stories of those who lived at sea.

The tour is comprehensive, entertaining and highly interactive, designed to allow visitors to learn, touch, explore and enjoy naval heritage from a modern perspective. It is an ideal plan for both those who love the sea and those who are looking for a different cultural experience.

The hangar area is spectacular, being surrounded by ships and planes seemed very original to me.

If you are staying in Tallinn for a few days, I recommend spending at least half a day at this museum.

Merchandising is limited, which in a way disappointed me a bit.
