Puy du Fou offers an experience very different from that of a conventional theme park. Here, history comes to life through large-scale live productions, monumental sets, choreography, special effects and hundreds of characters.
One of the most recent shows is *The Sword of King Arthur*, in which Tristan faces various trials to free Excalibur alongside some of the best-known knights of the Round Table. The production combines legend, action and a large-scale setting.
You can also attend *La Frairie de la Toussaint*, set in the Renaissance and starring King Francis I and various figures from his court. Another highlight is *Le Mime et l’Étoile*, a production that recreates the world of cinema through more than 2 kilometres of sets and over a hundred characters.
Throughout the day, you can alternate between the different shows and explore the park’s themed areas, organising your visit around the performance timetables. The programme may vary depending on the date, so it is advisable to check the day’s schedule.
