Step by Step

Enjoy a full-day excursion from Paris that combines two of France's most iconic sites: Giverny, the birthplace of Impressionism, and the Palace of Versailles, symbol of the French monarchy.

The day starts early, when you will meet the group at Place du Général Kœnig, from where you will depart by air-conditioned coach to the charming village of Giverny. Along the way, your guide will introduce you to the history of Claude Monet and the artistic movement that revolutionised the art world.

Once there, you will visit the Claude Monet Foundation, including his house and gardens. Stroll along the paths that inspired the famous Water Lilies, see the Japanese bridge and the flower-covered ponds that brought his canvases to life. You will also have free time for lunch in the local cafés and restaurants before continuing your journey to Versailles.

After an hour's drive, you will arrive at the Palace of Versailles, where your guide will take you through its opulent rooms: the Hall of Mirrors, the Royal Apartments and the Chapel, true symbols of the splendour of Louis XVI and Marie-Antoinette.

Afterwards, you will have free time to discover the gardens of Versailles, a landscape of more than 1,800 acres designed by André Le Nôtre. From April to October, you can enjoy the Musical Fountain Shows or the Musical Gardens, where classical music accompanies your stroll among fountains and sculptures.

A complete experience that combines the artistic sensibility of Monet with the luxury and grandeur of the Versailles of the French kings.
