Step by Step
The Big Bus sightseeing bus allows you to explore Paris without having to organise each journey separately. You can enjoy the full circuit from the panoramic deck or use the stops to create your own itinerary, visit the places that interest you most and then rejoin the route.
All three tickets include the red route, a tour that connects some of the city’s major landmarks. Along the route, you can get off near the Eiffel Tower, the Champ de Mars, the Louvre, Notre Dame, the Musée d’Orsay, the Opéra Garnier, the Champs-Élysées and the Arc de Triomphe.
The Discover ticket offers 24 hours of unlimited travel and is a practical way to explore the main monuments in a single day. It includes pre-recorded commentary, headphones, Wi-Fi and access to the heated lower deck of the electric buses.
The Essential ticket retains the 24-hour bus pass and adds a cruise of approximately one hour on the Seine. During the cruise, you’ll admire Paris’s monuments and bridges from the water. You can also download a self-guided walking tour from Vox to continue exploring the city at your own pace.
The Explore ticket includes the same extras, but extends the bus validity to 48 hours. It’s the most comprehensive option for spreading your visits over two days, getting off at more stops and enjoying Paris at a more leisurely pace.
Validity begins when you activate the ticket on the booked day. You can start your journey at any of the designated stops and, from that moment, hop on and off as many times as you like during the 24 or 48 hours corresponding to the option you’ve selected.
Reviews
- FF.Thanks to this bus service I was able to visit most of the places I wanted to go to because it has a timetable based on the opening hours of museums or tourist sites.
- AA.The bus was delayed a couple of times but the driver did his best to get us to our destinations on time.
- NN.The buses inside were very well maintained and the audio guide worked very well.
- TT.Before coming to France it was clear to me that I did not want to drive or walk, so this option was the one that best suited my needs and I am very happy with the service provided by the bus company.
