Join this tour and explore the island of Capri both by land and by sea. The activity will last about 6 hours, during which you will cruise along the coast of the island by boat, and then walk around Capri and Anacapri. Step by Step
On this tour you will have the opportunity, for about 6 hours, to discover Capri both by land and by sea. You will be accompanied by an expert guide, from whom you will learn about the history and culture of the island. Capri is known not only as one of the most visited tourist destinations in the world, but also as one of the oldest.
You will board a boat, where an expert crew will be waiting for you , who will make sure that you can enjoy the journey in the utmost comfort and safety. Once on board, you can enjoy a welcome drink while you relax and gaze out to sea at the coves and huge rocks that make up the coast of Capri. Some of the places you will pass by are as follows:
- Arch of Lovers: This is an immense rock, known for its shape, reminiscent of two elephants in the act.
- Green Grotto: One of the many natural caves on the coast of Capri, which gets its name from the green light that runs through it, giving this colour to both the water and the rocks of the grotto.
After the boat trip, you will start a walking tour through the streets of Capri, full of shops, luxurious restaurants and exclusive fashion boutiques. Afterwards, you will board a semi-private bus, which will take you to some of the following places:
- The Augustus Gardens: This is a set of botanical gardens located at the top of the island. From these gardens it is possible to enjoy a 180 degree panoramic view of the island and observe Monte Solaro, the bay of Marina Piccola and the Faraglioni.
- Villa San Michele: A beautiful villa built at the end of the 19th century by a Swedish doctor, where it is possible to stroll around and enjoy the view from the balconies. The villa treasures sculptures, sarcophagi, busts, mosaics, columns and ceramic pieces of great value.
- Monte Solaro: It is the highest point of the island, situated 586 metres above sea level. From the mountain, you can enjoy the best views of the island, with the immense rocks of its coastline jutting out into the sea.
If you only want to explore Capri by land, the excursion also has the option of excluding the boat trip, so that you can enjoy a tailor-made activity. Once the activity is over, you will return to the original starting point, as it is a round trip.
