Step by Step

This tour is the ideal option for food lovers looking to discover the true culinary identity of Lima. For two hours, you will walk through the most emblematic streets of the historic centre while savouring a selection of Peru's most representative flavours.

Your experience begins in Lima's Plaza Mayor, where you will meet your guide at El Adriatico restaurant. From there, the tour will take you past historic sites such as La Merced Church, as well as markets and hidden corners off the beaten tourist track.

Throughout the tour, you'll enjoy some tastings such as fresh ceviches, home-made potatoes and causas, mazamorra, Peruvian cheese and gourmet cured meats paired with local wine. You will also visit a traditional restaurant to try two typical Limean appetizers.

The tour is rounded off with a refreshing homemade ice cream and, as is the tradition in this type of experience, a secret meal that you will discover along the way. In addition, you will have the opportunity to try an authentic pisco sour in one of the oldest bars in the city.

It's a fun, authentic and tasty way to get to know Lima. Although there are free samples included, it is recommended to bring some cash to take advantage of all the options presented during the tour.
