Picasso Museum Guided Tour in Barcelona with Optional Moco Museum Tickets

The experience begins at Plaça del Fossar de les Moreres, where you will meet your guide before taking a short walk to the Picasso Museum. Before entering, you will be able to admire the architectural complex that houses the museum, comprising five palaces built between the 13th and 14th centuries.

Once inside, the tour focuses on Pablo Picasso’s artistic career, from his early works through to the later stages of his career. The museum offers a particularly good insight into his formative years and the importance of Barcelona in his development as an artist between the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

Throughout the tour, the guide will provide context on the works, the techniques used and the changes that shaped the painter’s evolution. The collection comprises over 3,500 works and is particularly notable for housing one of the most comprehensive collections dedicated to Picasso’s early years.

The guided tour lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes and takes place in groups of up to 20 people per guide. In addition, a radio guide system is provided so that you can comfortably follow the explanations throughout the tour.
