10. Monkey Park

Monkey Park is a zoo where you will find many monkeys of different species. The main attraction of this park is that you can go in and pet the lemurs and marmosets. Children love to interact with these curious little animals.

Inside this park you will find several touch zones where you can touch the smaller monkeys which are not dangerous. My recommendation is that you don't try to pick them up or pet them as they generally don't like this. If you just go in and look at them or talk to them for a while, they will gradually come closer to you, they will even climb on your shoulder!

For more interaction with the monkeys you can offer them food. Never give them bread or biscuits! In the park you will find boxes with special vegetables and greens for these animals. Keep in mind that taking care of their diet is vital for their health. Besides, if you give them something they like, they will surely run to you.

You can visit this park at any time of the year. Tickets cost an average of 10 € and the opening hours are from 9:30 in the morning until 4 in the afternoon. No doubt you will have a pleasant and peaceful time interacting with and learning about nature and the animal kingdom.
