There are three types of tickets for the High Roller and the difference between them depends on when you want to take the ride and whether you want to include the open bar.

The most common ticket, and the cheapest, costs approximately 28 euros and is for the daytime visit, i.e. from opening at 14.00 to 16.00 hours.

If you want to visit the Ferris wheel at night, an activity that can compete with the best shows in Las Vegas, the price of the ticket from 4pm to midnight is approximately 41 euros, while if you want to include the open bar service, the ticket will cost approximately 74 euros.

If you choose the open bar option you can enter at any time of day or night, although you should note that this option is only available to those over 21 years of age.

You can enter the High Roller Ferris wheel without queuing if you have the Las Vegas Go City Sightseeing Pass. There is also priority access for wheelchair users.

Tickets for the High Roller Ferris Wheel ride are included in the Las Vegas Explorer Pass, although you can only opt for the daytime option, so this is a detail to consider if you plan to visit the Ferris Wheel at night, as in that case you will have to buy the ticket on your own.

The Go City All Inclusive Tourist Card offers access to over 35 attractions in 2, 3, 4 and 5 day free passes and to access the High Roller Ferris wheel you don't need to book in advance, just show your pass before entry.

Opening hours are the same throughout the seasons. Passes from 2pm to 4pm are considered daytime, while 4pm to midnight will apply for the nighttime rate.

The ride on the High Roller takes 30 minutes and its location on The Linq, in the heart of The Strip, ensures that you can easily access it from downtown and the surrounding area if you are using public transport or the city's tour buses.

If you bought your tickets in advance, access is quick. It might only take a while if you have to wait at the ticket office to buy your tickets and then queue to get on the Ferris wheel.

The answer depends on the view you want to get. If you want to see the vastness of the city and its surroundings, the best time is during the day, as long as the weather is clear so you don't miss anything, especially if you are visiting Las Vegas in January or during the wetter months.

If you prefer to see the city lit up from above, the best time is at night, when you can see the neon lights of the casinos and hotels as well as the Las Vegas buildings.

If you choose to take the night tour, I advise you to stand on the right side of the cabins, which are the ones that face The Strip, where you'll find the best illuminations in the city.

If you decide to stay in Linq after your visit, you can dine at the local restaurants or visit some of the famous bars in the area.

From downtown Las Vegas you can take the Paradise Monorail to Harrah's Station, the Deuce bus to Mirage Station or the 113 and 108 bus combined with the monorail.

You can also use the Las Vegas hop on-hop off tour bus services which have a stop at Linq and if you choose to go in a rental car there is parking available next to the High Roller Ferris wheel ticket booth.
