Step by Step

The Big Bus sightseeing bus allows you to explore Los Angeles without having to organise each journey separately. You can stay on board to admire the city from the open-top upper deck or get off near the places that interest you most and then continue on another bus.

Both tickets allow you to use the Hollywood circuit or red route, which passes by places such as the Walk of Fame, the TCL Chinese Theatre, the Sunset Strip, Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive, Melrose Avenue, the Farmers’ Market and Museum Row. The full tour takes approximately 2 hours without getting off.

You’ll also have access to the Beach circuit or Blue Route, which connects Beverly Hills with the coast. This route takes you to Santa Monica Pier, Santa Monica Beach, Venice Boardwalk and Main Street. The full journey takes around 1 hour and 45 minutes, with several scheduled departures throughout the day.

The Discover ticket offers unlimited access to both routes for 24 hours. The Essential ticket extends validity to 48 hours and includes a guided walking tour of approximately 30 minutes around the TCL Chinese Theatre, where you’ll learn about the history of this famous cinema landmark and its Walk of Fame.

The Essential option also includes a bike hire offer with Unlimited Biking, so you can explore Santa Monica on two wheels. The free Big Bus app will help you locate the stops, check the route and track the arrival of buses in real time.
