Step by Step

This trolley tour is a practical way to get a first glimpse of Vancouver and travel between its main tourist areas without having to organise each journey separately. You can stay on board for the entire circuit or use the stops to create an itinerary tailored to your interests.

The route usually starts at Canada Place and continues through the city centre, Coal Harbour and English Bay before heading into Stanley Park. Within the park, you can get off near Second Beach, the aquarium, the totem poles, Lumberman’s Arch and the Rose Garden.

The route also connects to Vanier Park, home to several museums, and the Kitsilano neighbourhood. From there, you can reach Granville Island, known for its market, craft shops, restaurants and lively waterfront atmosphere.

Further on, the trolley passes through Yaletown, Library Square and Chinatown, before approaching Gastown, one of Vancouver’s best-known historic neighbourhoods. Its cobbled streets, historic buildings, shops and famous steam clock make it a particularly attractive stop.

The full circuit takes approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes if you choose not to get off. The ticket becomes valid the first time you use it, and from that moment on, you can hop on and off as you please for the 24 or 48 consecutive hours included in the option you’ve selected.
